For the French brand From Future, the KIDZ team has designed a pop-up that will be on display for several months at the Parisian department store Le Bon Marché. The installation reflects the brand’s contemporary aesthetic while maintaining a tactile feel and incorporating natural elements. The project was challenging due to tight deadlines, but the team managed to propose original design solutions that seamlessly combine complex materials and technical details.

At the heart of the composition is a massive table in the shape of a “golden stone,” serving as a display for accessories and key clothing pieces while also creating a focal point that invites visitors to step inside the installation. This central element is made of natural stone coated with gold paint, emphasizing the brand’s connection to natural materials. Surrounding the “golden stone” are two large elliptical clothing rails with integrated shelves, guiding the viewer’s gaze toward the center. This layout allows passersby to see the display while enabling visitors to explore the exhibition’s main focal point.

Additional details include mirrored metallic spheres above the central table, adding a sense of dynamism to the space, and a metallic brand logo with hidden backlighting that enhances the high-tech aesthetic of the pop-up, creating a cohesive installation.

Metallic and reflective elements on the shelves, rails, and logo contribute to the visual lightness and movement of the space, reinforcing From Future’s avant-garde approach to retail design.

Materials played a key role in creating the desired atmosphere. The floor is covered with gray carpet, which clearly defines the boundaries of the pop-up, unifies the composition, and solves several functional tasks. It conceals the wiring running from floor sockets to the rails and other lighting elements, ensuring a neat appearance and a secure connection for all technical details. The neutral-toned carpet also highlights the striking gold and metallic accents of the structure, creating a balance between warmth and minimalism.
